Dabsmyla x Mira Mikati 

As part of the SS21 collection Mira partnered with Australian street artists DABSMYLA. The husband-wife duo’s Technicolor art is naturally in sync with Mikati’s own rainbow designs and optimistic approach to life.

Mikati was introduced to the pairs’ joyous street murals at the Hello Miami pop-up event she hosted alongside Sarah Andelman in December 2019. After falling in love with their irreverent characters and jewel-bright colour palette, she knew she needed to work with them.

Mikati finally had an opportunity to collaborate with the pair, designing a selection of limited edition pieces for the Mira Mikati SS21 collection. The capsule included a statement bomber jacket, knitted jumper and t-shirt emblazoned with graphic prints in DABSMYLA’s trademark vibrant colours and cartoon eyes.

The collab was so successful Mikati enlisted their services again when she was asked to creatively direct an immersive window experience for Galeries Lafayette, assigning DABSMYLA to create a huge mural and window feature. To mark this second partnership, DABSMYLA designed an additional line of accessories for Mira Mikati, consisting of key chains, stationary and an iphone case.
